Jeremy Speaks for the First Time On Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton

God is the same yesterday, today and tommorrow. What can we learn from the past in this election year?

A repost for the 2026 Election Year

As I witness the outrage, strife and bitter hatred on both sides of the Republican and Democratic parties, I see an evil emerging. No, not from the Democratic side as some would assume, but from the heart of man as a whole! As the church, we have gotten so ingrained within the systems of the world that we have forgotten who is actually in charge.

Now, this article is not what many of you expected. It is not based on me telling you prophetically who is going to be the next President. We have already seen that happen with many prophetic voices who nationally prophesied Cruz or Rubio would be the next President of the United States of America; and with no apology whatsoever from many of these pastors and prophetic voices declaring they completely missed it. Nor will I bring in typology of who Donald Trump is likened to in the bible, such as some extremist who said Cyrus, nor will I liken Hillary to Jezebel which I say was a disgrace that someone in the prophetic called her. I dearly love all my prophetic friends and honor them but we have to call a spade a spade. Which means, we have taken the old testament and abused it badly by taking biblical characters and wrapping their characteristics and personality traits around these two candidates and yet, we have absolutely no scripture to justify these means. What if we respected these candidates enough to actually be them! The man and woman God has created them to be.

Thus Says the Lord…

I will not call out names since I try to practice grace and love upon all people but we have seen too many people miss it this year alone by prophesying Cruz, Trump, Clinton and Rubio as the next President of the United States of America. And yet, while they do these ‘thus says the Lord’ on television for millions of people to see, the world continues to laugh at us while we time and time again they miss it. The Old Testament would have not allowed this to happen. These ministers would have been stoned. Praise God today, we don’t stone people since we are under an amazing covenant of grace but the prophetic movement has spouted off not who the Lord wants, but who THEY want to be President. You cannot prophesy what your subconscious and your heart wants just because your brain can wrap around your theology, as if your theology is perfect and flawless.

We today, are loosing this generation, those that many would call the millennials. They are tired of the extremism within the parties (Republican and Democrat), movements, and churches as a whole. I have spoken to many of them, including my nephew, niece, their friends and so on to see and hear what they have to say about all of this. They mention the abuse of characters in the bible that we project upon Hillary and Donald are horrible! They are more about ‘come, let us reason together’ than more people I have ever met in the prophetic movement. Is it possible to keep the Lord involved in our votes without throwing the Old Testament at people, including these candidates? Is it possible to look towards the very one who came to save us and actually see what HE says about it? Is it possible for us to quit using prophecy like a dirty old rag and making a mockery of it by saying out loud who the next President is going to be to only set ourselves up to miss it again? Will the prophetic movement ever learn its lesson?

These are things I plead with you to consider.

Will our country be destroyed if Hillary Clinton becomes President? Absolutely not! I like what Glenn Beck said, “If she is elected, the world does not end…..” Will the world end if Donald Trump is elected! No!

I remember what Kim Clement (a prophetic voice) back in the election of 2008 between Obama and McCain prophesied. He prophesied Obama would be President. Christians were baffled in not knowing what to do. Christians everywhere were disrespecting the President and even calling him names, which the bible warns us not to do. But we have to remember, God puts in office who He wants in office for whatever reason He sees fit. God has used people from Churchill to King James to do things only they could do for things we have no clue why, but God does.

Why do We Pray?

We have to remember, it is not about our own understanding, but God’s understanding. That’s why, He gives us the peace that surpasses own understanding. The peace is given because of things we know and things we do not know or understand. So in voting, God never asks us what we think. God knows the ending from the beginning. He knows what He is doing.

You might ask, “Why do we even pray then?” Good question. Because the prayers of the righteous man, avails much. Which means, as His sons and daughters, we are called to make our petition (prayer) known to God. So then, how should we pray?

Matthew 6:9-13 This, then, is how you should pray, “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”

Now, let’s look at verse 8 of this same chapter. It reads, “For your Father knows what you NEED before you ask him.”

Did you catch that? He said, “What you NEED!” Not what you want! Which means, quit bringing to God what you think He wants. That is disrespectful to Him! We pray what He wants for us! Many of you already have your mind made up because you have been Republican or Democrat all of your life and you KNOW what God wants. Honestly, if that is true, you are one close-minded person. When you think you know what God (the maker of the universe) wants, you have already shut your mind off from Him. You cannot always read the bible and apply everything you read to all situations of life. It does not work that way! Let me give you a great example. How many times have you read a scripture and seen the truth in it? Yet, you come back to that same scripture 10 years later and it reads totally different to you now. Why? Because truth is progression. It will read totally different because your perception has changed, your life has changed and the way you see things in the kingdom has grown more inside of you. Therefore, it grows inside of you as you can receive it and process it where you are in that now moment. Does it mean the word of God was wrong the first time you read it? No! Truth grows in you as you grow. This is why we go from glory to glory. Everything is line upon line, precept upon precept. So to say, ‘We know what God likes,’ no you don’t. None of us do. That’s why He is God and we are not.

Don’t Believe Everything You Hear

We should never fall for or believe everything the media tells from Fox to CNN. Folks, “Come out from among them and be ye separate,” says the Lord! You know they will lie about Clinton and Trump over and over again. Plus, unless you witness something yourself, it is all just hearsay. Remember Peter? Who did not receive his information from flesh and blood or what ‘some say.’ It was first hand revelation from Jesus AND then, Jesus had to confirm that he did hear from the Lord personally. So if you hear what happened in Benghazi about Clinton or hear something Trump said about someone, do not believe either one! Don’t let this world make a fool out of you! Unless you were there and heard it personally, it is all merely hearsay folks. Sorry to bust your bubble but the truth is we should be like Thomas who said, “Unless I thrust my hand in your side and feel the nail scarred hands, I am not going to believe.” Well said Thomas!

So can we really pick Trump or Clinton to be the example that Christ tells us to look for? Absolutely not! So folks, if you hate Clinton or Trump, you are in the wrong. What you should do is rise above the worlds system and quit listening to them! Do what is scripturally correct by praying equally for both of them and pray the Lord will lead you (without being bias) to see whom you should vote for. And remember, quit being childish by thinking God is Republican or Democrat. Truthfully, God really does not care. He is God, not part of a silly party that the world came up with. God can use whomever He wants for any reason He desires. He used evil kings in the bible for certain reasons that only they can accomplish. Also keep in mind, it was God who hardened Pharoah’s heart then USED HIM to chase the children of Israel to the Red Sea so a miracle could happen. So did God use Pharoah? Absolutely! He is a part of history that was needed. When you get wrapped up in ‘he said, she said,’ you loose the essence of what Christ would say. God did not call the church to be ‘police’ of the world but He did call us to humble ourselves, walk by faith, give the shirt off our back to anyone who asks for it, feed the poor, decrease that He can increase in us, walk in meekness, kindness and love. The New Testament never refers to us as warriors or even an army. Think about it! These are ALL Old Testament words. Jesus called us to be sons and daughters of God not world police.

Feeling Trapped? Let’s Get Moving!

Jeremy LopezArticles

“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV)

Greetings! As I write these words to you I feel such a sense of urgency and expectation because I am soon to release my brand new book Get Out of Your Rut: From Stagnant to Breakthrough! Over the years, within prophetic ministry and even within my own personal life, what I’ve continued to find is that, more and more, there seems to be confusion about how to actually move forward.

Having a dream or a vision or even a desire is one thing; however, how does one actually move toward the manifestation they’ve been promised? In other words, once someone is given an actual promise or the realization of a dream for a more rich and abundant life, how does one get from “Point A” to “Point B?” And what does that journey look like? As you well know by now, even in the journey of faith, it can become so easy to begin to feel imprisoned and literally trapped – “stuck in a rut.”

So often, in my sessions with clients who come to me for prophetic coaching, I hear, “Jeremy, I know what I want, but how do I get there?” Often times these moments of questioning follow the pain of traumatic experiences – the breakup, the divorce, the loss of the job, or even the diagnosis. Other times, also commonly, these questions arise from a lack of self-awareness as the individual finds himself or herself asking, “Is this truly the will of God for my life?” Yet through it all, one thing remains constant: indecisiveness. My friend, while you’ve been waiting for God to move, although it may feel as though you’ve remained faithful, the blunt truth of the matter is that you’ve become far too indecisive. While you’ve “waited,” what have you been doing? Often, in life, even the most sincere and well-intentioned among us can become imprisoned in the feeling of being trapped as we all at times find ourselves feeling stuck in the ruts of life and not truly knowing how to move forward. And before long, complacency begins to set in as we resign ourselves to sit within the rut, claiming, “This must be the will of God.” My friend, it’s time to begin to move and to act. It’s time to finally reclaim control of your life and your God-given destiny.

Build Something

Unfortunately, as with most things, religion has done a great and terrible injustice to humanity by offering centuries of false teachings where the topic of “waiting” is concerned. In the Book of Isaiah, we find the passage of scripture which declares that those who “wait” upon the LORD will have their strength renewed and will mount up on wings as eagles. “Waiting,” though, doesn’t truly mean what most think it means. In fact, to better understand the text from the Kingdom perspective requires a better, more comprehensive understanding of the language of the Bible. “Wait” doesn’t mean to sit idly by or to simply stand still.

In fact, the words of the Prophet Isaiah actually have very little to do with one’s own personal prayer life even. Instead, in the original language of the Bible, the word “wait” means to “bind the pieces together.” It means to “tie together.” In other words, to put it another way, “wait” means to build something! All too often where the journey of faith is concerned, we sit on the sidelines, waiting, wishing, and hoping for the next big idea or the next “quick fix” or “easy way out.”

As much of a bitter pill as it may seem to suggest, religious lies have made us lazy and as a result the entire Body of Christ has spent centuries claiming to believe but never really being very productive in matters of daily life. It’s time to rethink your strategy and begin to draft a new blueprint for your life. You have been called to prosper in all things, even as your soul is prospering. I’m a firm believer that “all things” means “all things.” In other words, you can get out of your relationship ruts. And, yes, you can get out of your financial ruts as well – only if you act. How can you truly expect for God to continue to invest in your dreams and desires when you haven’t been willing to invest in them yourself?

In my newest book, Get Out of Your Rut: From Stagnant to Breakthrough! I share the time-tested and proven strategies designed to take you from your dream into the manifestation of your dream. These time-tested strategies, coupled with the ancient wisdom of the Kingdom were the same strategies that I personally used to become a bestselling author of more than forty books. Also, these are the same strategies I used to take the Gospel to the entire world when the Holy Spirit first birthed within me the vision of Identity Network all those years ago.

Somewhere along the way, you became stuck in your own journey of moving into the greater glories of God. Somewhere along the way, as a result, you stopped believing in yourself, becoming content to remain trapped where you are. My friend, I assure you that the moment you begin to build your life by becoming more decisive with your decisions, everything will become transformed. When the Holy Spirit birthed within me the vision of the “Now” all those years ago, I realized how vitally important the issue of time within our world truly is. Whether you’ve realized it yet or not, you’ve been wasting a lot of precious, valuable time where your life is concerned – time that could have and, well, in all honesty should have been used to build the life you dream of. Today, I want to encourage you and inspire you to begin to view your faith in a new and exciting way. Moments are quickly passing you by. It’s time to become un-stuck and get out of your rut! As the scriptures declare, old things are passing away and all things are being made new. My advice to you is to allow it to happen by beginning to finally act on your own God-given dreams.

What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger

Jeremy LopezArticles

“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” (1 Peter 5:10 KJV)

It’s perhaps the most widely misunderstood theme within all of life and a theme that seems all too often forgotten about: suffering. I’m so pleased to announce to the world the release of my newest book, What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger; now available worldwide – with members of my monthly book club receiving the very first, signed copies, as always. Suffering isn’t popular. It isn’t easy.

Let’s face it, no one wants to hurt. When suffering comes, she doesn’t discriminate. When suffering comes, she gives no regard of your successes and accomplishments. Whether you’re the head of a successful business or even a celebrity, when suffering comes, you will be forced to hurt and to endure pain just as all the rest. As I began to meditate upon what would come to be the inspiration for my newest book, I found myself beginning to question how for centuries organized religion has dismissed pain and suffering as little more than just the “attacks” of the “enemy.” According to the scriptures, suffering serves a purpose and is part of the plan of God for our lives. When we hurt, when we endure hardship, and, yes, even when it seems like we’re being forced to walk through the flames of the furnace, a very real treasure is being revealed within us and through us as the glory of Christ is made known. When you find yourself walking through Hell, keep going!

All throughout the scriptures, we find that many times things seemed to go from bad to sometimes much, much worse before they ever got better – even though organized religion never likes to admit it. Joseph the Dreamer went from a pit and then to a prison before ever being elevated to his position in the palace. The three Hebrew believers found their deliverance only after the fires were made hotter and only after they were cast into the furnace. Peter didn’t preach on the Day of Pentecost until after he had been “sifted as wheat,” and even Jesus himself did not return unto Galilee until he had first endured the wilderness. Your suffering serves a purpose; it serves a very Heavenly-inspired plan. The Word of the LORD through the Prophet Isaiah declares that we are called while in the “furnace of affliction.” We sometimes forget that. Religion, as always, has done a great and a terrible disservice to the Body of Christ and to the world at large by erroneously, falsely claiming that as long as we “believe” everything will always be easy, smooth-sailing. It’s a lie, and it’s time you understood that. Your hardship, your struggle, and your moments of affliction in no way mean that you’re separated from God; those afflictions serve to remind you that you’re being called to something even greater. There can be no “100 Fold Realm” or even a “60 Fold Realm” without first passing through the “40 Fold Realm” – the realm of tribulation. 40 has always been symbolic of tribulation and struggle – from the children of Israel being forced to wander for 40 years in the wilderness to Jesus enduring 40 days being tempted of the Devil. If you truly desire to experience the “100 Fold Realm” of God, you’re going to be forced to pass through the furnaces of affliction.

It’s time to grow up in Christ and begin to think differently with the mature mind of Christ. Today, even at the slightest moment of discomfort, we immediately “rebuke it,” “cast it out,” and “stand against it” in faith. When hardship and trials come, we immediately think that we’re being attacked. But what if that isn’t always the case? What if suffering, as the epistle of Peter claims, is one of the many, many processes of God by which the inner Christ is revealed? What if suffering serves to establish us? All throughout the scriptures, we find one resounding truth regarding the element of suffering in life: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!” I invite you today to purchase my brand new book, What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger, and my hope and prayer for you is that you would begin to recognize the process at work in the midst of your pain. If you find yourself hurting today, it only means that you’re being prepared for something even greater than you have ever dared to imagine. As we prepare to enter 2020, why not begin to desire greater strength and greater faith? Why not begin to desire an even greater level of maturity in Christ? Why not desire even greater glories? To obtain all that you’ve been promised, it will be demanded of you that you hurt sometimes. But when suffering has completed her work, you will be established. You will be stronger in the end. You’ll be better for it all.

Finding the Good Again

Jeremy LopezArticles

Do you ever feel exhausted trying to find the positive in what seems like such a negative world? Do you feel that no matter what you do you just can’t seem to find the good in life? Well, if so, I assure you there’s a much better way forward. To my dear friends and ministry partners and to all who have a love for the things of the Spirit, I have exciting news! My newest book, Healing from Negative Energy is now available worldwide wherever books are sold. When I first began to feel the inspiration that led to my newest book, I found myself reminded that for so many people all across the world, life can sometimes seem like such a daily battle – a constant struggle to just make it to another day. For so many – believers included – it can feel like such a daily, uphill climb to stay positive and optimistic. When everything around us seems so negative, is there a way to actually feel good again?

We know that in this world there will always be moments of trial and tribulation. Jesus promised as much. He promised that in this life there would be moments of difficulty and moments of pain. However, I’m a firm believer that life isn’t meant to always be a constant struggle, and it doesn’t have to always be difficult all the time. The abundant life Jesus promises is much more than a series of hardships and never-ending battles. Believe it or not, there really is a lot of “good” in the world around you, and there really is a lot of “good” in your life right now. It’s time to begin to view the abundant life in a much different way than ever before.

What are You Focusing On?

In Healing from Negative Energy, I share for the first time a powerful revelation that not only changed my life all those years ago but also continues to inspire me within my own life each and every day. “What you focus on, you will attract.” When the Creator first spoke the worlds into existence, He deemed it to be “good.” With each new day and with each act of creation, the LORD called it “good.” Every single day was “good.” Then, for His crowning achievement, after He had formed and fashioned man from the dust of the ground, He called His work “very good.” So, where did it all go so horribly wrong? If it’s really all that “good,” why is it that for so many dreamers and seekers things always feel so “bad” all the time? In my newest book, I share with you the powerful prophetic Law of Focus – a Law so powerful and so heavenly that it can change every aspect of your life. Did you know that your life is the result of what you’re choosing to focus on?

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (Isaiah 43:19 NIV)

Do you perceive it? Can you see it? All the “good” that exists around you? I know it can be difficult to see right now when everything and everyone around you seems to focus only on the “bad.” But I feel inspired to ask you, my friend, where is your perspective? What are you focusing on? It’s time to place your focus on the “good” instead of all the things that seem or feel so very “bad.” Whether you believe it or not, Creation really is still just as beautiful as ever before!

Your Feelings are Tied to Your Focus

So many times, I hear believers and dreamers, just like you, share with me how even with the strongest faith life sometimes just doesn’t feel very good. I hear it each day in my prophetic readings and in life coaching sessions with clients. “Jeremy, my current relationship just doesn’t feel good.” “My job doesn’t feel good.” “It doesn’t feel good in my home.” In case no one else has ever told you before, your feelings really do matter, and they serve as powerful tools within the Kingdom of God. Those feelings you have, believe it or not, are your inner compass to remind you of the abundant life you’ve been promised. They remind you of just how in alignment you really are with the dreams and desires you’ve been given. But those feelings are directly tied to your focus. If it feels “bad” or “negative,” it’s because somewhere along the way you’ve chose to focus on the “bad” or the “negative.” It’s time to view life through the lens of the Spirit and not from the lens of the natural world!

In Healing from Negative Energy, I share how it’s possible to rid every part of your life of negativity by beginning to view life through the lens of the “good.” No, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t real moments of difficulty or that there won’t be moments of pain. But it does mean that you never have to allow those moments of difficulty to paralyze you and keep you from living life to the fullest. I happen to believe that life in the Kingdom of Heaven is a journey of joy! I happen to believe that the abundant life is a life that feels “good.”

My prayer for you, my friend and fellow seeker, is that you would begin to have a renewed sense of focus on all the “good” that Creation has to offer. It’s time to see the “good” in your marriage again. It’s time to see the “good” in your career. It’s time to remember that there’s “good” even in the coworker who always seems so negative. Can you see it? Can you perceive it? When you begin to view life through the lens of the “good” and not from the lens of the natural, carnal world, not only will you attract more of the goodness into your life, but you will see as never before that life really isn’t as “bad” as most people believe it to be.
